Photograph shows a full-length portrait of a young girl, probably Fannie Virginia Casseopia Lawrence, facing slightly right. "Entered, according to act of Congress, in the year 1863, by T. C. Fanning, in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the United States for the Southern District of New York" printed on front of the mount. "Sold in Buchers Church, during the Civil War" written in ink on back of the mount.
