Free at Last

The film Free at Last film was created as part of the Juneteenth Legacy Project. The film was designed to briefly explain the symbolic Juneteenth imagery embedded in the Free at Last painting. The research on the painting was based on a series of interviews with the painter, Ted Ellis. The film is narrated by Kofi Kyei-Amponsah. The film was released on Juneteenth, 2022. I used After Effects and Premiere to edit the film. I worked as the producer and editor on the project.
